I personally worked hard in all of my coursesFeb 10 2006Electrical Engineering
I personally worked hard in all of my courses at my High School. I also participated in technical and public outreach activites. Leadership is important and the law school has a strong presence on campus. Get involved in a student organization - or even start one!

Take some aps, do well on theSep 20 2005Journalism
take some aps, do well on the sat, and get really involved. gw students are crazy involved and the admissions people really look for people who can continue that trend.
SAT: 1250 Female
The averageJun 17 2005Other
The average SAT is 1300 and 65% of GW students rank in the top 10% of their class. The acceptance rate is 38%. GW is pretty competitive, but the admissions office will accept people with SATs much lower than a 1300 and reject some with much higher. Just work the admissions system(interviews, essays, etc.) and you will increase your chances greatly.
SAT: 1490 Male
Letters,Jun 02 2005Political Science
Letters, Test Prep, Meeting, Interview, SATS 1 and 2. Visit the school to see if it is for you it is not your traditional campus and for those that need or want that they may me dissapoited with the more cosmopolitan feel of the school. The Dorms are nice, most are former hotels.
SAT: 1480 Female
Don't believe posts about this school being that easyApr 06 2005Undecided
Don't believe posts about this school being that easy to get into. I had several friends that applied with 1300-1330 SAT's, 3.8-4.0 weighted GPA and they were flat-out rejected. I think class rank, number of AP's, and definitely visit for an interview (or request interview with a rep in your area).
SAT: 1300 Female
